Gutshof Zenz Weingut in Ediger-Eller

After a nice wandering afternoon at Calmont, we stopped here. Luckily for us, the temperatures were still pleasant in the evening and we were able to beat our bellies with a couple of glasses of excellent semi-dry house wine in the beautiful courtyard ambience of the house.

The ambience is super uncomfortable and cold. I don't even want to talk about the food, it's not worth calling it food at all. Add to that the unfriendly staff! I would never come here again. I've never felt so uncomfortable!

Great restaurant, nicely furnished, delicious food and large portions. The young waiter is very on his toes! We have been here a few times so far and each time we have enjoyed it a lot!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The two of us waited outside as requested until we were assigned a table. A group of four was waiting behind us. Then she got a table and we had to go. Sure you can earn more money with four guests, but that's not fair.

Nice little inn in the wine cellar with tasty food and very good wine. The service is very quick and friendly. We can highly recommend 👍👍

Small cozy courtyard. Unfortunately the schnitzel was very dry and the fries were sometimes so hard that I didn't even eat them. The accompanying salad was served after we complained about it.

The location is beautiful, the service very friendly. However the food was a disappointment. Brother Heinrich, including his croquettes, was a tough and tough crony. The bottle of wine is unfortunately not served in the cooler and if you ask for salt, you get Bad Reichenhaller Design.

I am writing a review here even though I was not present in the restaurant, because on my first telephone request I was told Reservation is no longer possible, but I should come over, maybe something is still free, my second attempt the next day by e-mail (because day off and not reached by phone) for the following day there was no answer, no NO, no yes, no reservation by email is not possible, only a short reply would have been enough, the courtesy and friendliness so much praised in all other reviews I can in of the digital world at Gutshof Zenz

Nice terrace, with beautiful plants, mostly covered. Not been in because of Corona. Good food, but nothing spectacular. Service very friendly. And also DELICIOUS wine. If you ask for it, you will then receive the brochure from the winery.

Food was good as always. We have been traveling to the Moselle for years. So far we have always visited zenz. Today it was cheeky. Food was good. We gave a good tip and wanted a schnapps on the house for it ... We were then promptly allowed to pay for it ... It was ordered differently, very clearly ... What a shame. We will definitely not come any more. No recommendation was made. So always pay attention to the payment. It's a shame. Let's just go to the St. Martinus cellar more often ... There is no such thing.

Eaten badly. Unfriendly staff. It was sweltering outside, and a lot of people, but that should not be an excuse.

Good food and a very nice beer garden. Unfortunately we got the cat place outside the beer garden directly on the street. No difference in price was made here, so I have to deduct two stars for the unsightly atmosphere.

Not really special about food. You can eat on the terrace or in the cave. The restaurant is located in one of the small streets of the village.

Located near the uphill edge of this charming midieval town, the setting could not be more picturesque. Park by the Moselstrasse and walk up or use the minimal parking on the rural lane above the property. Ignore the entry only for farm traffic sign. The courtyard is covered in grape vines and well protected from wind. Inside you find cozy seating within wine cellars. The food was delicious and wine very tasty. Thiis is a busy place and reservations are recommended.
